Son Doong Riverside checked all the boxes - clean, friendly, well located, comfortable, helpful.

Very pleased with our stay at the Son Doong Riverside. The place was immaculately clean, in both the rooms and common areas. They have a fantastic breakfast area on the riverside. Banana pancakes were great. They were very helpful at arranging tours (although it seemed that all the places used the same tour group). We saw Paradise, Phong Nha Cave and the Botanical Gardens in one day. They arranged airport taxis for us. Perhaps a km or so walk to town. People that we spoke with from other homestays didn't seem to be as happy with their choice as we were with the Son Doong. I would strongly recommend this place to any friend or family member planning to visit Phong Nha. They work hard to provide a great guest experience and it shows.

Really can't think of anything to complain about.

This was the perfect stay and the staff are amazing.

The property was beautiful, clean and in a perfect location. The staff genuinely went above and beyond, everywhere I have stayed in Vietnam has been amazing but I think this was my favourite stay as the staff made you feel so welcome, picked me up and dropped me back off at the bus stop. I cannot recommend Son Doong Riverside enough.

Definitely recommended

Definitely exceeded expectations. Spotless room that was ready for us with 20 minutes of arriving at 10:30am (before check in), helpful and friendly staff that really made an effort, hot water that actually worked (and fast!), good breakfast, great value for the price. They also turned around laundry for us very quickly.

Amazing hosts that go above and beyond

The hosts are beyond fantastic. We only booked for one night at approx £8, but they picked us up from the sleeper bus at 4.30am for free and took us to the hotel. They then let us check in early at that time even though our booking wasn't until the next night, again for free. They also helped with booking a bus to Hue. There's also a really nice range of options for included breakfast.

The view from the room is really good. All facilities are available, such as tour booking, laundry, restaurant ,bus booking, scooter, cycle etc. If you book bus with them , they offer pick up and drop service. Very helpful staff.

Lovely place, beautiful views, awesome staff! They offer everything, from scooter rental (which is the best way to move around), laundry, food and transportation.

Good value in Tam Coc

Small hotel kept by a friendly family. The rooms were nice and clean with hot showers. They organized us a taxi to pick us up from the train station, they booked us a nice big bus to Hue and dropped us for free at the bus stop. They also organize trips to the caves. We went with them to Paradise cave and it was actually the husband who drove us in his confortable car.

One room had a problem with the lock so we had to switch to another room, which was not a big inconvenience as we noticed it from the start and we got a nicer room (the first one had no window). It was cold and rainy outside, so the rooms felt cold and damp too. The drying system of the airco helped a bit, but it would have been nice to have a heater in the room (the airco only dried or cooled).

Fantastic property, friendly staff and great location

It was clean and comfortable and located in a fantastic spot. The staff were very friendly so would definitely recommend it.

The only bad thing I can say is the hot water wasn't working for the shower and as it was quite mild outside it wasn't nice to have a cold shower after doing the caves.
